The Palmetto Military Academy is located in Eastover, SC at the McCrady Training Center. PMA is a part of the 2nd Bn (OCS), 218th Regt (Leadership), which trains and evaluates selected soldiers in the fundamentals of leadership and basic military skills; evaluates their leadership abilities, instills in them the Army professional ethic and commissions those who qualify as second lieutenants in the Army National Guard. This year we welcome the officer candidates from the Georgia Military Institute. These candidates will train along side of South Carolina candidates at the PMA.
